Interior Design students are preparing for final reviews and the ID Open House on December 2. Please join us to see the work and speak with students. 

ID 271 Second Year Studio Ryann Aoukar Instructor- The students just completed a residential design project and now are starting initial sketches for a French Restaurant. The following images are a sampling of sketches that the students have developed related to the schematic and conceptual design.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 ID 371 Third Year Design Studio- Mary Beth Robinson Instructor. The students are creating design proposals for an adaptive reuse of the existing Cal Johnson building in downtown Knoxville. Constructed in 1898 by the first African American Millionaire. The students have to design for a mixed use of a yoga studio, non-profit historical society, and dog grooming business.

 ID 471 Fourth Year Design Studio - David Matthews and Merita Soino Instrutors- Students in fourth year design studio are creating a design proposal for a k-6 school in Finland. The studio is being instructed by David Matthews and Merita Soino, a Visiting Professor from Finland.
